Michael Lister Search, a leading headhunting firm, was established in 1996 by founder Rod Frost. Our mission is to provide niche headhunting services to the broader middle market, offering the dynamic performance of headhunting at a cost more associated with middle market demands. 'Value-for-money' is at the centre of all our services and performance is our constant goal.
Over the years, we have built an enviable reputation with very many blue chip clients, working closely with the people of the business, to understand carefully their needs and deliver quality candidates who can bring impact to their strategic business plans. Our own people have all had senior general management roles in Plc environments and hence we have a specific 'sharp-end' track record of achievement ourselves. This allows us to bring a much greater sensitivity and targeted approach to both research and interviewing techniques.
Our Services
Our principle service is headhunting, although we often recommend the more traditional search and selection based assignments to provide the best individual recruitment solution. We are able to combine field-based interviews with many forms of candidate screening, based on our own candidate testing.
Our assignments are fee-based and are uniquely resourced. We do not work for more than one Client within a given sector, which builds loyalty, trust and delivers the very best candidates to our Clients. Our own competitors often prosper by specialising in either a discipline or recruitment sector. However, we believe this minimises the quality of candidates and the people we can credibly target.

We forge very strong links with all our candidates from the moment we initially speak on the telephone, through the first meeting and on to Client interviews. It is with great pleasure that we can claim to have very many candidates who have become Clients as a result of the thorough recruitment work we undertake, in bringing the right people forward for the right positions.
