Our Story

Founded in 1993 by Mark Allen, an environmental graduate, Allen & York was one of the first recruitment consultancies to specialise in Environment and Sustainability hiring. Inspired by his passion for the environment, Mark began to form what would become lifelong partnerships with environmental organisations across the world. Our journey has been marked by significant milestones, from establishing a new Corporate Health and Safety Division in the late 90s to expanding our services to include Energy, Sustainability, and Health, Safety, and Wellbeing.
