Who We Are

The Housing Executive is an entirely independent organisation, formed by Tony Clark and Carol Drummond in 2002. We have a background in housing recruitment at director level and have worked with the sector for over 20 years. Our expansion has been gradual, ensuring we maintain standards and priding ourselves on generating repeat business through good service. We are based in central London and have expanded to operate from London, Kent, Hampshire, and Wales.

What We Do

At The Housing Executive, we offer a high-quality, personal service delivered by the directors, giving you consistency of recruitment contacts and twenty years of housing sector experience to understand your specific vacancies. We meet the need for a recruitment consultancy dedicated to managers and executives and recruit on an interim, permanent, and consultancy basis, recruiting managers, directors, and consultants within the housing sector (including property, investment, and development).

Our Services

We act as ambassadors for organisations, adding value and providing a high level of customer service to candidates responding to your vacancy. We believe in broadening the level of interest in a role, reaching beyond selection based on advertising alone, utilising our established network throughout the sector and contacts on social media. We love a challenge and have worked with a varied range of clients in our time, including the UN, the Audit Commission, many local authorities, G15 Registered Providers, national housing groups, the smallest housing associations, and a global property company. Our recruitment range is broad: from a Chief Executive in Glasgow to a Strategic Income Manager in Kent and an Energy Specialist in London!
