Our journey began with Ian Wheal, our Managing Director, who started his career in treasury operations with The Bank of China in 1994. Following his time at The Bank of China, Ian worked as a short sterling money broker at Martins, and then moved to HSBC where he was part of the private and institutional client service division during the ".com boom". He was also part of the team that successfully built and launched HSBC's global internet stockbroking platform. Ian joined Prime Personnel in March 2001 and has been instrumental in building an established and specialized team that is the driving force behind Prime Personnel's success today.

We have a strong team of professionals who are dedicated to providing an exceptional service to our clients and candidates. Paula Lunn, our Assistant Manager in the Banking & Finance division, has extensive experience in financial services recruitment. She entered the field following time spent with major banks in operational and analytical positions. Paula is highly regarded by the industry for her ability to assist candidates in making the right career decisions. She has an extensive client base and provides a professional and knowledgeable service across commercial and investment banking, from entry level to senior management positions.

David Goodrich, our Business Support Manager, is a seasoned professional with significant experience working in the recruitment industry as a head-hunter and contingency consultant. David manages the professional support element of Prime Personnel, specifically dedicated to temporary pay and contract solutions.

Jessie Calverley, our Office Manager, originally joined Prime Personnel in 2010 as the Office Administrator. After five years, she moved on to work in the Financial Services industry but has recently returned to Prime Personnel with a renewed skill set. Jessie's varied responsibilities include the management of social media and Prime's market presence, front of house, compliance, and events management.

Amy Perera, our Resource Specialist, joined Prime Personnel in February 2019 after a successful career in healthcare recruitment in Australia. Amy is dedicated to servicing the needs and career aspirations of our extensive and wide-ranging candidate base across all sectors of the business in banking, finance, and office support.
